This certification introduces a revolutionary economic model where coffee producers receive a share in the financial benefits of their coffee, moving beyond the traditional minimum price model. By becoming stakeholders in the entire value chain, African coffee producers can address extreme poverty, the roots cause of child labor, environmental degradation, and many other challenges.
