We are pleased to formally announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA). The agreement, signed on August 12, establishes a strategic collaboration aimed at fostering inclusive economic growth, strengthening private sector competitiveness, and expanding equitable trade and investment opportunities between Ethiopia and global markets.

Through this partnership, AIM and ECCSA will work together to:

  • Deliver cross-cultural training programs for private-sector stakeholders
  • Facilitate B2B matchmaking through the Ethiopia–The Netherlands–Turkey Trade Alliance
  • Support the establishment of a new coding and programming institute in Ethiopia
  • Co-develop the Ethiopian Trade Hub as a central platform for business development

Implementation of this collaboration will be led by Dr. Kalkidan Esayas, Deputy Director, and Yonas Dejene, Country Director for AIM Ethiopia.

We look forward to advancing this partnership and delivering meaningful impact for Ethiopia’s private sector.
