Thelma Madzikanda is a Business Development professional who is also passionate about African Development. The UCT Alumna has primarily worked in the IT sector where she honed her business Development skills at renowned companies such as Bytes Technology Group, Tarsus Technology Group and Lenovo managing the Africa portfolio during her career. Her travels into Africa ignited her passion for Africa industrialisation.
She volunteers in organisations such as Africa Circular Economy Network and Junior Chamber International which are aligned to her values of the betterment of the continent. An avid networker, Thelma leverages her vast network to ensure businesses get the best value when entering the African markets. “I would just like to see Africa reach her full potential”.
Her passion is seeing Africa’s resources being utilized to benefit Africans. I believe Africa is sitting on a gold mine of untapped youth talent and vast resources and want to help bridge the gap in unemployment and under utilization of our natural resources.
